Day 6

Busy day at work today, so no time to take a real lunch. I took long enough to make some rice. One cup of long grain brown rice. I added a tablespoon of light butter, 1/2 teaspoon of cajun seasoning, and 2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese. I'm debating on whether to order a sandwich or wings or something. Trying to completely talk myself out of it. I'm not necessarily hungry. I'm just thinking about food.

Walked during breaks at school. Nothing extensive. Just enough to get the heart rate up for like five minutes.

Tomorrow or Friday, I'm going to get to the grocery store. I have about a cup of rice and a can of soup in my kitchen. Literally. I don't keep much here because I know I'll bet bored and wander in there. I can't eat out all of the time though. Need to find a balance.

Tomorrow morning is my weigh in. I also take a picture tomorrow evening to post in my profile.

  1. How the hell can you get bored when you work full time and go to school 4 nights a week?

  2. I'm sitting here doing nothing right now. And my stomach is actually growling, so maybe it's not just my head. I guess I could run up to Walmart and get some yogurt or something. Or still order a sandwich or wings. Or run to Wendy's or Taco Bell.

    Ugh!!!

  3. I think being active is the key, which is going to be tough when you have a desk job and are sitting in school. I don't care much for the physical nature of my job but I do believe it helps keep me in shape.

I should bring an extra bike down with me and see if I can hook you. It's a hot, sweaty thing to do in the summertime, but it does melt off the pounds and you don't need to be in great shape to do it.

  4. And I know you can't do much as far as activity this late at night, what I was getting at is you can get away with consuming more calories if you can find a way to burn them off.

Not that that is any kind of groundbreaking news.
